Reach out to a provider to Join National APSE's Project NEON on 14c Transformation!
The Association of People Supporting Employment First, otherwise known as APSE, in collaboration with the National Expansion of Employment Opportunities Network (NEON), this year 2024/5 is focusing on a project to assist organizations in transforming from 14(c). The project is open (free) to twenty agencies involved in Transformation or considering Transformation from 14 (c). The project will use APSE's Questionnaire Guide to Transformation as a foundation. Let providers in your state know about this opportunity now so they can join the kick-off meeting on December 9, 2024.
The project will provide individual TA up to twice a month and group TA with all participating organizations every six weeks. Members, by the end of the project, will have created the documents needed to have an infrastructure to move forward, including (but not limited to):
- Modification to their mission and vision statement to reflect the change, if needed
- Transformation plan that aligns with the agency's strategic plan
- A communication plan addressing all stakeholders.
- Strategies for motivating staff
- The SME and the agency will conduct a financial assessment. It will address how to remain cost-neutral during the Transformation and how to secure additional dollars to offset costs.
- Conducted a Business Assessment for new partnerships.
- Created a plan to address Career Development for current consumers.
- Milestones and Benchmarks that the agency's staff have agreed upon.
